Windsurf/Cascade has its own MCP configuration conventions. Some flows use serverUrl for remote MCP servers.

Setup

  1. Open the current Windsurf MCP documentation.
  2. Open Windsurf's MCP settings or local MCP config location.
  3. Back up any existing config before editing it.
  4. Add Core using the current Windsurf remote MCP shape.
  5. Use https://core.gradien.ai/mcp as the server URL.
  6. Save the config and reload Windsurf if needed.
  7. Approve OAuth if Windsurf prompts for browser authentication.

Verify

Core should appear in Windsurf/Cascade's MCP server list after reload. If tools do not appear, check for enterprise/admin controls, MCP enablement settings, or tool-count limits in the current Windsurf version.
